You are not alone
Tattoos Saved My Life is dedicated to advancing mental wellness and reducing stigma through art, education, storytelling, and community engagement. We create inclusive opportunities for individuals to share their experiences, access meaningful resources, build connections, and find strength in the stories that shape who they are.
Art started the conversation. We're finishing it.
So Tattoos Saved My Life is building the answer. A certification program in mental health response, so that when the conversation turns, the person holding the machine knows what to ask and where to send someone for real help.
The tattoo was always doing part of the work. Marking something you survived. Covering something you'd rather not look at. This is about making sure somebody is ready for the rest of it.
We believe tattoos can be more than ink. They can mark the day someone survived. They can remember someone who couldn't stay. They can cover a scar someone no longer wants to explain. They can celebrate recovery, identity, family, loss, love, transformation, or simply a moment worth carrying forever. But Tattoos Saved My Life isn't ultimately about tattoos. It's about the people underneath them.
It's about creating a community where difficult conversations are welcomed, stories are respected, mental wellness is supported, and people are reminded that whatever chapter they're living through today does not have to be the end of their story.
Your story matters. And it's still being written.
